Rested for a dozen years between 2009 and 2022 in a trio of hogshead casks, absolutly no added colour, and none of that chill-filtration malarky went on with this one. Tasting Note : Nose : Charred marzipan and toasted oak with hints of burnt brown sugar leading to nutty, biscuity malt. Palate : Buttery vanilla fudge, floral wafts of citrus blossom, and light honey with a kick of earthy clove and green walnuts building behind the scenes. Finish : A splendid finish of earthy nuts, spicy oak, fresh ginger, and just a smidge of brine.
